Car Seat Check-Up Event Success!! Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for the Car Seat Check-Up event at the Walmart Supercenter Helotes, hosted by our partners at Safe Kids San Antonio and University Health. Certified technicians inspected 55 car seats to ensure proper installation!

I want to thank everyone from the City of Helotes Police Department, City of Helotes Fire and EMS Department, City of Helotes Public Works, Texas Department of Transportation, Bexar County ESD #2, Walmart Supercenter Helotes, and Brooke Army Medical Center for volunteering their time and expertise for the safety of the little ones in our community.

And a special shout-out goes to Corporal Steve Ortiz, who leads the community outreach efforts for the City of Helotes Police Department, and Buck Russel, a Helotes Planning and Zoning Commissioner, for their public safety partnership.
